Will boiling 12 regular mouth half pint Mason jars to clean them cause them to break?
Q. We need to clean 12 of these jars to put the honey in them and my mom isafraid to put them in the dishwasher, so we want to know if boiling them will cause them to crack or break. The jars are Mason Half pint (8 oz.) regular mouth jars.

A. Yes. You can put them in the dishwasher or boil them. If you use the dishwasher, they'll only be sterile if you have a "sanitize" cycle on it. Make sure that the jars aren't cold if you put them directly into boiling water. You can put them in warm water, and bring it up to a boil. Don't boil them so hard that they clank around, that's what could cause breakage.

should i start anquan boldin or derrick mason for wk 3?
Q. boldin's gonna be playing against the indianapolis colts in wk 3 and mason's going against cleveland browns. im not happy with either of their performances so far, but if you had to pick someone, who would you start? boldin or mason?

A. Boldin by a slim margin. Neither are very good options, but Boldin has a better quarterback and the Indy Pass D isn't top 10 anyways. Mason is consistent, but with Flacco at the helm, even against Cleveland, Mason's at best going to get you 15 points I would say. Plus, in Week 1 against KC's paper thin secondary, Flacco only hit Mason 4 times for 48 yards. Go with Boldin.
